Munster, IN – Saturday, April 12 — Spring has sprung, and with it comes a wave of adorable puppies and kittens at Humane Indiana. To support these furry newcomers, the shelter is throwing its Annual Animal Baby Shower this Saturday, April 12, at the Humane Indiana Shelter and Adoption Center.
The family-friendly event offers light refreshments, raffles, and the chance to meet some of the shelter’s tiniest residents. Admission is $15 for adults and kids over 12, and just $5 for younger children. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation from the shelter’s Baby Shower Wish List—each item or receipt doubles as a raffle entry!
“This is a joyful way to connect with the community while supporting lifesaving foster care,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, CEO of Humane Indiana. “It’s all about giving these animals a second chance.”
Fostering is a major focus of the event, with staff on hand to share how even short-term fosters can make a big impact. Whether you’re there to learn, donate, or just soak in the puppy cuddles, the Animal Baby Shower promises a fun, feel-good afternoon.
